Meet Andrea & Orion
Meet Andrea Miller and Orion Worley!
Where are you each from? Andrea is from State Center, IA. Orion is originally from Oklahoma.
How did you meet? Orion and Andrea met in the spring of 2005 while both were youth leaders at a local church near Minneapolis. Later finding out that they were both attending North Central University. After months of hanging out with friends together Orion and Andrea went on their 1st date on May 12, 2005. The rest is history!
What is your proposal story? When Andrea grauated from college in Dec. 2005 she took a job that moved her to Arizona. At this time Orion and Andrea had only been dating for about 7 months. Both knew that they really wanted to continue their relationship and were committed to doing whatever it took. They continued to date while Andrea was in Arizona and Orion finished his last semester of school. In Sept. 2006 after 9 months apart Andrea found herself moving back to Iowa. Orion and her were closer now. Two days after Andrea's 24th birthday she went up to Minneapolis to visit Orion. We went to dinner that night, when we were finished with dinner we then ordered dessert. While waiting for the dessert Orion said that he was leaving to use the restroom. A few moments later he came back with a plate in his hands. On the plate was the apple tart they had ordered for dessert - on top of that was the ring. And around the rim of the plate written in chocolate syrup it said, "Will you marry me?" Andrea said, "YES!"
