Our Bridal Shows are a unique experience. We have the Dream Series shows at one of our vendors facilities so you are able to see what they offer. We feature 25 to 30 vendors in a casual, elegant atmosphere.
We also have our shows for 2 to 3 hours after 5:00 at night. They are designed so you and a friend can take your time to visit with the vendors in a relaxed atmosphere. You can actually take some time to learn what the vendor offers.

Hey soon to be married couple! What are your names? Heidi and Matthew
Where are you from Heidi is from Wilton, IA and Matthew is from Muscatine, IA
Tell us, how did you meet? Matt and I met at College our freshman year through mutual friends
Tell us about your proposal story! Last July Matt and I had taken a trip to Las Vegas, this was our second trip, we just loved to go to all the hotels. We thought the only way we would every get to see Paris or Venice would be through seeing the Las Vegas Hotels and Casinos.
We stayed at the Paris hotel and on the first night we got there we were up in our room which faced the Bellegio fountains and Matt turned down the lights so we could watch the light and water show from our room window. We were both watching and he asked me a question and I noticed he was on one knee holding my hand. Then he proposed and it was the best night and the best vacation of our lives.
Are you planning on going on a honeymoon? Although we both thought we would never get to see the real Paris, we decided to go for it. We are going to Europe. Seeing all of the sights, Rome, Venice, Florence, Switzerland, Paris, and London. We are so excited!!!
When is your wedding: May 6, 2006
That is coming right up! What has been the best part of planning your wedding? Well, since we got engaged at the Paris Hotel and have decided to go to Paris for our Honeymoon we are going to have a European themed wedding reception. It has been fun finding decorations and spending so much time with my mom planning it! Our parents are really making my wedding dreams come true!
What has been the toughest part of planning your wedding? All the calls you have to make and all of the decisions. I would tell everyone who is planning their wedding to limit yourself on the decisions. If you like it, go for it, don’t give yourself too many options.
Do you have any secret wedding tips to pass along to other gals planning their wedding? Enjoy it! It goes by very quickly. Also if you are stressing out you are not alone. It happens to all of us. Ask for help if you need it. That is what your Bridesmaids are for.
Any Vendors you've been working with that have provided exceptional service so far? Images in Ink, Durant. Laura Schroeder Portrait Studio, Muscatine, and A Storybook Ending Wedding and Prom shop, Dewitt.
Where do you each work? We both work for Family Resources Inc. in Muscatine. Heidi is a Sexual Assault Advocate/Counselor and Matt is a teacher for the Muscatine Learning Center
When you started your wedding did you have a budget in mind? Are you able to stay within it? I have a budget and my parents have a budget and we are trying to stay within our means. It is hard to do it but we are really trying to stay in our budget. Matt’s family has really pick up the left over things. They have been so helpful!!
Tell us about your wedding! We will be getting married at my hometown church, St. Mary’s Church in Wilton, IA @ 4:30 with reception following at the Durant Community Center. My colors are pink and fresh green. With A European Themed reception with roman columns, light posts, wine, French bread, Eiffel Towers and Big Bens.
We will be having a Chocolate Fountain, three different cheesecakes, and a 5-tiered cake with various flavors. It should be quite the good time. We are very excited.
Who is going to walk you down the aisle? My father.
